Well, it was bound to happen sometime. Our beloved 1998 Plymouth Neon, with a whopping 226,000 miles, decided to retire … on the side of the highway … with a smoking clutch.

I’ve put some of my video habit aside to work on photography, thanks to my new Canon Rebel T1i. On my last photo outing to the Little Five Points Halloween Parade, I captured a classic three photo sequence. This requires a little bit of explanation so you understand the source of the funny.
Note: one of the photos is in slightly poor taste. It’s not what I would call “not safe for work” but it’s borderline. Also, my Mom might not like it very much … just warning you in advance …
Suzan and I spent the past week in San Francisco with friends and had a wonderful time. Our trip combined time with friends, travel to a city filled with great photo opportunities, an escape from the summer heat of Georgia and a celebration of my wife’s birthday.
My first travel documentation task is to upload over 400 photos, then I might be able to get trip memories put onto the site. Watch this space for details …
