No, I will not be buying one of these

This binaural microphone is designed to simulate the way humans perceive sound by shaping “ears” around the mic elements. Yes, it looks freaky.

I know this works because I built one of these in high school with some students for a senior project. But we didn’t spend $3,899 on it.
