So, you may ask yourself in this time of holiday sales, can a $169.00 LCD projector marked down to $119.00 at Target be a bad deal?
According to this web review, it’s a horrible deal. Maybe I should just save up for a real projector, or only buy this if I want to cannibalize it for science experiments. It’s hard to love a projector after the reviewer says it even smells bad.

Last time it was demolishing the old house. This time it’s building a barn in its place. Not our usual trips to Home Depot with a trailer to buy bags of concrete and 2×4 lumber, but an actual construction project with a contractor and his crew.
I’d like to thank my state and local officials for making another lame attempt to solve the Georgia drought. The total inability for a coastal state to try and find sources for water is a little embarrassing (hint: how do you think all of those African deserts get water).
So what’s our latest plan … prayer? I think we’re taking the wrong approach.
As some of you already know, my grandmother has been in poor health the past few months. I visited her in May when she was still at home. They moved her to a nursing home a few weeks ago, and I visited her last weekend. She’s frail and suffers from some dementia, but I got to see her on a day when her mind was working well.
My grandfather has been her caretaker the past few years, watching over his life companion while in so-called retirement (the stock market has been a full time hobby). Now he’s in surgery …
My grandfather had a heart attack Tuesday night. At 10:00am today they started heart surgery & removal of blockage from three major arteries. Update @ 4:55pm – Grandfather is out of surgery & in great shape for an 83 year old man who just had a heart attack. Several arteries cleared or bypassed, one heart valve repaired. So far, so good 
Even when my grandmother has gone to the hospital for previous problems, my grandfather visited every day. This might be the first time in decades when my grandparents have spent more than a few days apart.
