Haven’t I Been Here Before

Monday starts in a new cubicle, with a new job title … and the feeling I’ve been here before.

Yeah, I’m back in the sales/marketing department. April 2nd changes Brian from a “Senior Managing Engineer” to a “Senior Technical Marketing Engineer” … basically the same job I was doing before I moved back into engineering.

Why did I move back to the old job of travel, presentations and PowerPoint … short version: nobody else here seems to be able to do the job. Even when I was supposed to be managing engineering projects I still got pulled into conference calls, web seminars & trade show booths. Curse my ability to do something the company requires.

Tomorrow puts be on a plane to San Jose, CA … yep, I’m at a trade show the day after the job paperwork goes through. Everything old is new again.
