If you can see this message, then you’re on the new & (hopefully) improved siliconchef.com … now powered by WordPress & a few new comment spam filters :)

I’ll be tinkering with the site a lot, so stay tuned.

Welcome to the flood of things that are appearing in the valley of my world …

1. Dragon*ConTV – a good flood of great footage & ideas than came in this past weekend. Now it’s time to edit.

2. Work – taking over projects for a manager who is out for a month … but it’s not exactly the bill of goods I was sold. More work, not enough resources, no clear picture of the requirements.

3. Spammers – those bastards flooded this site with 2500+ comments this weekend. Greymatter has no good spam control or mass-deletion functionality, so I’ll have to do a site upgrade before I can clean up the mess. Those wankers give Canadian V1agra and on-line gambling a bad name. I’ll be disabling comments across the entire site until I work out a solution.

Last night in Vegas, and I’m not spending it at a gaming table. Kimber has rescued me from the tradeshow and we’re off to the Mandalay Bay.

I haven’t gotten around to posting all of the pictures from the last trip to Las Vegas, and it looks like I’m going back. I have to spend a few days at a tradeshow in Vegas this week, so I get a business trip to my last vacation spot.

It’s not all fun and games … three nights of booth duty, less-than-glamorous hotel arrangements and a red-eye flight on one of my least favorite airlines … but it’s not a bad place to do business.

Maybe I can get some photos uploaded before I leave, but I also have a Dragon*ConTV staff meeting to plan … foo.
