What do Klingons, Loganville & my Mother all have in common … well, they’ve all been subjected to the wonders of Dragon*ConTV.
Dragon*ConTV just starts earlier & earlier every year. Suzan and I had ten Klingons over to the house on Saturday to start taping our particular brand of fake commercial. On Sunday we took a few of them out on location … standing on the side of Tuck Road, holding up signs, serving food at The Coffee House … I think a few of the locals may have been frightened.
Best of all, my Mom came by to watch the festivities. What did my Mom want before she left? A picture (here’s the large version, suitable for printing). Suzan will probably post the rest of the pics later this week … assuming we have time before the next DCTV invasion.
So I checked wondergeeks between my two classes (teaching) today, and saw this, and came here, and cracked the hell up, leading my students to think that their teacher was even further around the bend than they’d thought. I simply explained, though, that a friend had taken a photo of his mom with a bunch of Klingons. That shut them up.
