I’m not a huge comic book fan, but I have great respect for Frank Miller … especially his take on Batman. The link goes to an article about his next Batman book, and how he can’t understand why today’s Hollywood won’t handle anti-terrorism the same way folks in 1940′s entertainment backed the war effort.
A few weeks off … sort of. Even though work goes on as normal and the laundry has to be done, it’s been a bit slow around the house. I have several large projects off my plate, several about to start. Even though it feels dull, the downtime is good.
In other news, Suzan and I will be heading to Vegas for my birthday in March. It’s odd to plan a visit to an artificial city, but it’s a city we can go to without tons of planning or research. Find a hotel, show up and just relax for a while.
