Wow, jury duty sucks … especially when the Assistant DA can’t prove the guy is guilty. There’s a difference between “not guilty” and “didn’t do it” … “not guilty” was the only good option we had.
It’s pretty depressing.
Yeah, got picked for jury duty. I report Wednesday to sit on a DUI case. The case has six separate counts, so I plan to take notes.
One woman did get dismissed because she said she couldn’t be impartial … she has strong opinions and a lot of family in law enforcement. The 35 ahead of her seemed to think they should have used her statement, because she got dismissed immediately by the defense attourney. The Assistant DA seemed to like her for some reason.
After that I remembered the line I joke about using to get out of jury duty …
