Well, the neighbors probably think I’m building a bomb shelter. The basement & foundation walls have been poured. Crews showed up at 7:30am today to finish up before the rain moves in. If all goes well, they’ll pour the basement floor next week.

You know, I am just way too excited about all this, especially considering it’s not even my house.
You know, that first picture makes it look like you guys are entombing that flatbed truck.
And now, we commit this truck to the earth from whence it came …
except for the tires, because they were made from rubber trees …
and the anti-freeze, because burying that violates a few environmental laws …
oh, and I need to get my "Back in Black" CD out of the radio …
