Suzan and I are celebrating another Aftermas, the time of year when we recover from the joy/madness/silliness/drama that is the Christmas Holiday Season. I’m sure this is just what Jesus had in mind.
After sorting through the gifts, cards, gift-cards & cash I did a little shopping this evening. Out of all the nice stuff I got, I still had to go out and buy the Firefly DVD set (this is where the cash came in handy). My binary clock is ticking away in the kitchen next to the new pepper grinder, while my new shirt is taking a spin in the washer.
All in all it was a good holiday. I got to spend quality time with family, quality time with Suzan, and the cat only knocked the tree over once. Not bad.
Actually, I’m sure that Jesus would say, "See, this is what you get for moving my birthday to the winter solstice. Morons."
We just finished watching the Firefly DVDs, and I must damn Fox again for cancelling the show. In fact, the best line of the whole series was in an episode never aired. *sigh*
Just thought you should know that at Dragon*Con, one of the things that Marsters mentioned is that Joss’ next big project is Firefly the movie…..
