Scramble
Sunday was a day of rest. My body told me that I needed to stay away from activity.
This week was a scramble. Meet with builder on Monday, stop by bank on Tuesday, karate on Wednesday, fax the last-minute-nobody-told-me-I-needed-this-legal-paperwork-two-weeks-ago form to Chase Manhattan on Thursday, TV show on Friday, look at stuff for the house on Saturday … mix in a week of work and you’ve got an excuse for Brian to start feeling a bit ill.
My body isn’t sure if I have a cold. I spent some time from 3am to 9am trying to work that out. It’s still undecided.
The good thing about this past week is that I get to see my wife every night. We’re getting used to being around each other all the time now that work-related travel has died down. We eat in most nights, and she’s started to work camera at PeopleTV for my Friday night call-in computer show.
I still need to design a few websites, poke at the legal department of a major US bank, and design a documentation plan for a software department … unless those pesky germs decide to take over.
