Note to potential house guests … peeing in my office trash can is not the way to my heart.

Suzan went to visit Maxine this evening. Somebody found her while we were out of town for my brother’s wedding. The folks had left Maxine with their grandmother while they tried to find her owner, and grandma fell in love with our dog.

I meant to use today’s entry as a way to talk about my brother’s wedding, but the company marketing meeting has ruined the rest of my day.

So Suzan and I are getting ready to head to New Bern, NC for my brother’s wedding. It won’t be fat or Greek, but it promises to be big. Here’s hoping my wife’s head doesn’t explode from all of the pomp, ceremony, false formalities and costume changes.
