My toe was feeling better yesterday. It’s turned many interesting colors, but I do have most of my mobility back. Well … had that mobility until I stubbed it this morning on a toolbox.
Ouch.
Unlike all those rappers on the music videos, I do not look cool with a limp. Caucasian computer professionals cannot pull off a convincing swagger. I do not need, or deserve, any “street cred” (considering my street isn’t even paved).
Anyway, it’s almost quitting time. I spent last night in a board meeting for Tech Corps Georgia, trying to plan the next six months of work I need to do for my pet non-profit organization. Tonight I’m co-hosting another episode of Tech Support on PeopleTV. We’re doing a show on Linux this evening, so that should be entertaining.
Public access television is an interesting world, especially when you do a show on modern technology produced using fifteen year old analog equipment (sigh).
I need to stay off my feet to let my toe heal. I’m supposed to go to Karate College next weekend, and I’ll feel stupid if I can’t participate because of a bruised toe. It’s a stupid injury, but just enough to make life awkard. I’ll try and remember to suffer from something a little more dramatic the next time I go on the disabled list. But it’s not supposed to rain this weekend, so I need to work around the house. I also need to finish the Sajido video so we have something to sell at Karate College.
Plus there’s Sunday … something important is supposed to happen Sunday … I’m sure Suzan will remember …
