The interview went up today … and I am quite happy with the results. A lot of folks learned something about BIOS, some learned things about TCPA, and even more learned that I can babble on and on about technology.
There’s folks who are still concerned about TCPA, and they have every right to be. I hope that what I said helps them direct informed concern at the proper target, rather than tossing ill-informed fanatic commentary in random directions. I’m also glad that others can sort out the real issues from the trolls (the review at Ars Technica was very nice, thanks Hannibal).
The standard flame-bait appeared on the site. The worst are that compare my company to IBM working for the Germans in the 1940′s. Yeah, that’s fair. Let me know when Hitler comes by to delete your DiVX collection.
My only regret is that I removed RTFFAQ from the interview text … it was so appropriate.
