Okay, here’s a company that won’t be getting my money because they missed the point.

One of my fellow engineers sent me a link to ThinkGeek’s aluminum laptop briefcase. Those silly copycats … I had one of these months ago (mine comes in a nice black leather version).

Just because soccer isn’t popular in America doesn’t mean we don’t understand rioting after a game.

Those silly Raiders’ fans decided to loot and burn after Oakland lost the big game. Just because you’re dressed up like a pirate doesn’t mean you’re allowed to plunder.

Good thing they didn’t win the game … there would be nothing left of Oakland.

This is bullshit! If it’s going to get cold, at least get to a single digit so I can see if my thermometer uses leading zeros.

This “cold in the South” thing must be a result of not winning the Civil War (a.k.a. War Between The States … no war is “civil”). We must have signed some “weather sharing” clause in the surrender agreement.

Even worse, I think my propane tank is running low. It’s too damn cold!

Good: Mozilla 1.2.1 with support for Gnome Anti-Aliasing Fonts in RedHat 8.0 (pretty fonts, smooth fonts).

Bad: Not working out in karate class tonight due to sore legs from Monday’s class … and that sense that I am not in a mood compatible with hitting people in a controlled manner.

Ugly: Spending the last 30 minutes of my workday arguing about PowerPoint.

The interview went up today … and I am quite happy with the results. A lot of folks learned something about BIOS, some learned things about TCPA, and even more learned that I can babble on and on about technology.
