I’m performing the Wednesday evening ritual of taking the garbage can to the street, rolling down the long path from my house to the street. The idea of “curbside garbage service” isn’t quite the same on a dirt road … there’s no curb. The distance from my house to the street gives me time to think, reflect and observe.

Am I in a groove, or am I in a rut? It’s a question I ask myself every few years.

Last weekend was good. Sunday’s Rush concert was wonderful. This week has been a mess, almost erasing the memory of last weekend’s fun.

This weekend rapidly approaches. I’m home from work today, thanks to eagerness of my wife’s cold to spread out and find new friends … it’s not bad, but just enough of a reason not to go to work.

Suzan and I will head to Clemson this weekend. I’m meeting up with my mom & brother for Homecoming. I think this weekend will be fun as well.

Sorry for the lack of posting. I’m sure all four of my readers have missed my compelling description of life in and around Loganville. But its has been one of those weeks.
