Why do I do this? Why work a sci-fi convention tech staff?

At least I’m starting off with more sleep than last year. I started Dragon*Con 2001 by coming off of a red-eye flight from San Jose, then went to Japan the very next week (no, I am not taking medication to adjust my mental state).

This year isn’t as bad by comparison. I got to bed at 2:00 AM and have mostly recovered from the evil cold. Just in case, I already have next Tuesday off from work to recover.

I still don’t know why I do this …
